Arne Westerman is listed in Who’s Who in American Art, and has won many major awards in national juried shows. His paintings are in the permanent collections of ten American museums and are included in many other public and private collections throughout the U.S. Selections of Arne’s art appear in six books published by North Light Books and two published by Rockport Publishers. He has authored Paint Watercolors Filled With Life and Energy, published by North Light, and has written a number of articles on watercolors. He has also authored a satire on the art world entitled How to Become a Famous Artist through Pain and Suffering. Arne Westerman is a respected teacher and juror, and conducts painting workshops throughout the world. He is represented in galleries in Portland, OR; Carmel, and Burlingame, CA; and Pittsburgh, PA. His studio is in Portland, Oregon.
